Upon reading a lot of my issues of ImagineFX's magazine I've come to a conclusion....my art sucks.
It's not bad, but not the best...then again I only draw for personal entertainment purposes and relaxation. But I looked through my gallery this morning at several old pics that even though have a ton of faves *damn you Raziel*, relatively few comments.
The point I'm getting at here is that I'm probably going to innitiate a gallery purge, nothing massive, but a nice cleanup.
...especially since I look at some art from 04/05 *cringe*....
Consider this a warning...

Aww, don't say that... Your artwork is quite good, some of the best thus far. (especially compared to others...namely me)

It's just that when you look at all that art in those magazines it really gets one thinking "wow...I can do much MUCH better"
I just feel like I've been slacking off a bit and it's time to get back in the saddle :3

I suppose you're right.....still, a little drastic, don't ya think.

I mean, normally when I look at my artwork and feel that I could do better, I keep the old in another pile/file (scraps would be a good idea) and when time goes on, I just compare them to recent ones, but I don't get rid of them. It puts a new perspective sometimes.

Still, it's your choice. I hope in the future your artwork will be more stunning then it is now

It doesn't suck. Those people devote their life to art, theirs should be that great, ours, well we enjoy doing this as a hobby.

I clean my gallery from time to time too... but I just throw everything into scraps...

du bist krank, wenn du denkst, dass du ein schlechter künstler seist.
deine gallerie aufzuräumen, nicht unbedingt eine schlechte idee, aber unnötig.
willst du wirklich allen neueren besuchern deine älteren fantastischen werke vorenthalten, das finde ich nicht richtig.

(btw: ich habe ein neues pic in meine gallerie gestellt ;) )
